Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition for treating, relieving and preventing pulmonary disease caused by fine dust, the composition comprising an ecklonia cava extract as an active ingredient, and more specifically the present invention has been perfected by verifying the excellent cell protection effects of ecklonia cava extract with respect to cytotoxicity occurring in nasal cells and lung cells, and confirming, through animal testing, the treatment, relieving and prevention effect thereof with respect to pulmonary disease caused by ultrafine particles. The present invention can be usefully utilized as a health functional food composition for relieving and preventing pulmonary disease caused by ultrafine particles, as a food composition for relieving and preventing pulmonary disease caused by ultrafine particles, as a pharmaceutical composition for treating and preventing pulmonary disease caused by ultrafine particles, and as a cosmetic composition for relieving and preventing pulmonary disease caused by ultrafine particles.
