Abstract:
Provided are tetrahydrobiopterin compounds or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, as well as polymorphs, solvates, enantiomers, stereoisomers and hydrates thereof. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions comprising an effective amount of the above compounds used for treating or preventing metabolic diseases, which may be formulated for oral, buccal, rectal, topical, transdermal, transmucosal, intravenous, parenteral administration, syrup, or injection. Such compositions may be used for the treatment of phenylketonuria, cardiovascular disease, autism, ADHD, hypertension, endothelial dysfunction and chronic kidney disease.
