Abstract:
A compound having a fluorene skeleton represented by formula (1), which is characterized in that a resin obtained by using this compound having a fluorene skeleton as a starting material is excellent in terms of various characteristics (such as optical characteristics, heat resistance and moldability). (In the formula, R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a hydrocarbon group which may contain an aromatic group having 1-12 carbon atoms; each of Ar1 and Ar2 independently represents an aromatic group which may have a substituent having 6-12 carbon atoms; L1 represents an alkylene group having 1-12 carbon atoms; m1 and n1 may be the same or different, and each represents an integer of 0-4; m2 and n2 may be the same or different, and each represents an integer of 0-3; and (m1 + m2) ≥ 1 is satisfied. Meanwhile, (m1 + n1) is an integer of 4 or less, and (m2 + n2) is an integer of 3 or less. Each of o1 and o2 independently represents an integer of 0-5.)
