Abstract:
The present application discloses a compound having vertical alignment properties, a liquid crystal display panel and a manufacturing method thereof. In the liquid crystal display panel of the present application, liquid crystal material of the liquid crystal layer is of liquid crystal molecules doped with the compound having vertical alignment properties. Therefore, an alignment layer is not required in the liquid crystal display panel, and a polymerizable monomer is not required in the liquid crystal material. Advantages include simplified manufacturing processes, lower production cost and improved product yield.
