Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a compound capable of yielding a modified polymer which, when used in a rubber composition, brings about excellent rigidity, wear resistance, and low heat build-up properties; a modified polymer obtained by modifying a polymer with the compound; a rubber composition containing the modified polymer; and a tire and a conveyor belt each produced using the rubber composition. The compound according to the present invention is represented by formula (M).
