Abstract:
Heat of refrigerant in a muffler space is transmitted to refrigerant in an intake hole of a cylinder, and the compression efficiency of a compressor significantly decreases. This compressor (1) is provided with a rear cylinder (14) in which a compression chamber (31) is formed, a rear head (15) arranged on the end surface of the rear cylinder (14), and a muffler member (18) forming a second muffler space (19) with the rear head (15). The rear cylinder (14) has an intake hole (32) for supplying refrigerant to the compression chamber (31). The second muffler space (19) is provided with a heat-insulating space (53) partitioned by ribs (51, 52) and resistant to refrigerant infiltration, and the heat-insulating space (53) overlaps the intake hole (32) in a plan view.
