Abstract:
A compressor 1 is provided with a shell 2, an oil pump 3, a motor 4, a compression section 5, a frame 6, and a shaft section 7. The compression section 5 has a stationary scroll 30 which is affixed to the inside of the shell 2, and an orbiting scroll 40 which is connected to the upper end of the shaft section 7 and which forms a compression chamber 5a in cooperation with the stationary scroll 30, the compression chamber 5a compressing operating gas. The orbiting scroll 40 has formed therein an oil supply hole 50 which connects an oil passage 7a and the thrust lower surface 40a of the orbiting scroll 40 and which supplies oil, flowing through the oil passage 7a, to the gap between the thrust lower surface 40a and the surface of the frame 6, which faces the thrust lower surface 40a.
