Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing a compressor whereby the quantity of an oil circulating in a refrigeration cycle is reduced by improving a function of separating the oil from a medium in the compressor.
[Solution] A discharge chamber 24 is partitioned, using a partition wall 6d, into a first discharge chamber 24a having a discharge port 18d opened therein, and a second discharge chamber 24b having opened therein an introduction path 25 to an oil separation chamber 28a of an oil separator 28, said partition wall being formed in the vertical direction in a rear housing 6. In an upper portion of the discharge chamber 24, a path 27 for having the first discharge chamber 24a and the second discharge chamber 24b in communication with each other is formed.
