Abstract:
The present invention improves the convenience of a display screen for a user, the display screen displaying an index value pertaining to a remaining amount of a printing material. First information pertaining to a remaining amount of a first printing material of a first cartridge is acquired, second information pertaining to a remaining amount of a second printing material of a second cartridge is acquired, and display screen data is generated, the display screen data presenting a display screen including a first display image and a second display image. The first display image includes a first object and a second object for displaying a first value determined using the first information, and the second display image includes a third object for displaying a second value determined using the second information. The first object and the third object each indicate a value corresponding to a state of printing material remaining inside a cartridge, and the second object indicates a value corresponding to printing material remaining in a tank. The first object and the third object are displayed in a corresponding display section within a first area, and the second object is displayed in a corresponding display section within a second area.
