Abstract:
A connector (10) and an adapter cable (50). The connector (10) comprises: a body (11), having an end surface (111); a first connecting portion (12) and a second connecting portion (13) disposed on the end surface (111); and at least one pin (14, 15, 16, 17) exposed on the end surface (111) or on surfaces of the first connecting portion (12) and the second connecting portion (13). The configuration of the first connecting portion (12), the second connecting portion (13) and the pins (14, 15, 16, 17) enables the interface (10) to connect to another connector (10') having the same structure according the following method. Upon connecting, the first connecting portion (12) of the interface (10) is connected to a second connecting portion (13') of the other interface (10'), the second connecting portion (13) of the interface (10) is connected to a first connecting portion (12') of the other interface (10'), and the pins (14, 15, 16, 17) of the interface (10) contact and electrically connect with pins (14', 15', 16', 17') of the other interface (10'). With the above method, the interface (10) does not have a polarity, and two interfaces (10) having the same structure can be mutually connected.
