Abstract:
A female connector 12 is connected to the end portion of a shielded electrical wire 11 that is formed by surrounding the outer periphery of a covered electrical wire 13 with a braided wire 14. The female connector 12 comprises: a female terminal 18 connected to a core wire 16; an insulating dielectric 19 surrounding the female terminal 18; a first outer conductor 33 having a tube portion 35 that surrounds the dielectric 19, a connection plate portion 36 that overlaps with the braided wire 14, and a first linking portion 37 that links the tube portion 35 and the connection plate portion 36; and a second outer conductor 34 having a rear press-fit portion 45 that press-fits the braided wire 14 and the connection plate portion 36 from the outer side of the braided wire 14 and the connection plate portion 36, a front press-fit portion 44 that press-fits the tube portion 35 from the outer side of the tube portion 35, and a second linking portion 46 that links the rear press-fit portion 45 and the front press-fit portion 44. The outer periphery of the core wire 16 is surrounded by the first linking portion 37 and the second linking portion 46 with at least part of the second linking portion 46 overlapping with the outer side of the first linking portion 37.
