Abstract:
Provided is a connector for a wire with a shield, with which wire connection strength and waterproofness in a vehicle can be secured and a connection between a wire shield and a grounding circuit can be reliably achieved even if subjected to vibration, and which can be manufactured with a simple structure at low cost. A shield (5) is folded back at the end of a shield-equipped wire (2), and at the outer periphery thereof, a conductive sleeve (9) is attached by crimping. The shield-equipped wire (2) is inserted into a connector body (8), and a fastening holder (13) is used to fasten a waterproof ring holder (10) within the connector body (8) together with a wire waterproofing packing (11) and an internal waterproofing packing (12). This fastening presses the conductive sleeve (9) to a step-like shape changing surface (8ad) within the connector body (8). A shield connection spring (14) is interposed at this pressing location.
