Abstract:
In conventional connectors, since multiple terminals are not arranged in the same plane maintaining a fixed interval, it is not possible to perform impedance matching for transmission of high-frequency electric signals, which results in the problem of deterioration of high-frequency characteristics. In order to solve this problem, this substrate-side connector is provided with multiple terminals which are arranged in parallel in the same plane and which are bent at a flexed part, an insulator which holds the multiple terminals, and an outer conductor shall which houses said insulator, wherein, by adopting a configuration that reduces change in the interval between the terminals at the flexed part of each of the terminals, the effects on high-frequency characteristics (return, loss, etc.) occurring due to mismatched impedance can be mitigated.
