Abstract:
A connector 100 is provided with: a connector body 40 comprising a plate-shaped conductor 10, conductive contacts 31A-35B and 31B-35B, and a housing 20 for holding the aforementioned components so as to be insulated from each other; and a metal casing 50 that forms the exterior of a pen-type electronic device and that comprises a through hole 51 into which a partner connector can be inserted. The conductive contacts 31A-35B and 31B-35B constitute part of an electrical circuit that is different from the plate-shaped conductor 10 in the pen-type electronic device. The ends 12 of the plate-shaped conductor 10 are fixed to an inner wall of the casing 50 forming the through hole 51 that a tip section 42 electrically connected with the partner connector in the connector body 40 is arranged within the through hole 51.
