Abstract:

Provided is a construction machine capable of quickly adjusting the rotation speed of a swivel motor to a target rotation speed.　A controller calculates a target rotation speed of a swivel motor on the basis of input from an operation device, and calculates the degree by which a rotation speed detected by a rotation speed sensor diverges from the target rotation speed. When the degree of divergence is greater than a prescribed value, the controller sets a target drive pressure of the swivel motor in accordance with the moment of inertia of a swivel body and a work device about a swivel axis and controls a pressure adjustment device so that the difference between a drive pressure detected by a pressure sensor and the target drive pressure becomes smaller. When the degree of divergence is equal to or less than the prescribed value, the controller controls the pressure adjustment device so that the difference between the rotation speed detected by the rotation speed sensor and the target rotation speed becomes smaller.
