Abstract:
A construction vehicle in which a reduction in traction force in traveling at a
low speed is suppressed. The construction vehicle has an engine, a main pump driven
by the engine, a second travel motor driven by pressurized oil discharged from
the main pump, tires driven by driving force of the second travel motor, and a control
part. The control part controls the vehicle speed and traction force by controlling
the speed of the engine, the capacity of the main pump, and the capacity of the second
travel motor. In a low speed range where the vehicle speed is lower than a predetermined
threshold, the control part increases the maximum capacity of the second travel
motor such that the lower the vehicle speed, the greater the capacity.
