Description:
CONTAINER DISINFECTION SYSTEM Technical Field

The present invention relates to a container disinfection system that is used for disinfecting microorganisms by using chemical substances, said microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, and parasites, etc. that contaminate and/or attach to the external parts of the containers used in both national and international transportation and commerce.

Prior Art

As it was in the past, today containers of which lexical meaning corresponds to a carrier, are also used in both land and sea transportation and commercial shipment. However, like visible dust, a lot of dirt accumulates on these containers during transportation and/or staging areas. On the other hand, bacteria, viruses, and parasites that are not directly visible to the naked eye contaminate the exterior parts of the containers and spread all around during the transportation process.

Bacteria, viruses, and parasites spreading via containers are a big threat to human health, however, there are no measures taken in this regard. As these microorganisms get attached to the containers and are dangerous to human health and since they are not disinfected, they threaten human health on a global scale.

The only measure taken to prevent bacteria, viruses, and parasites from spreading is that when they are detected and/or when a potential risk is noticed, the transportation process, namely the shipment is stopped. This temporary solution causes great economic damage for both the transporter and the supplier as well as for the purchaser and/or for the provider. Objects of the Invention

The present invention relates to a container disinfection system that is used by being positioned on the exterior part of the containers and/or that eliminates the possible microorganism risk that is harmful to human health. The container disinfection process carried out for killing bacteria and parasites, and particularly for the viruses on the exterior part of the containers is performed in a short period within the container disinfection system. The risk for bacteria, viruses, and parasites is eliminated by means of washing the containers inside the inventive container disinfection system. Accordingly, shipping made with said containers may easily proceed to be both during normal times and in times when potential risks are present, by means of the inventive measure. In addition thereto, all risks stemming from bacteria, viruses, and parasites are eliminated in normal times by disinfecting the containers in this manner.

The present invention allows for;

-Preventing the microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, and parasites which are dangerous for human health, from spreading; - Taking measures with respect to human health,

- Protecting human health in times of risk,

- Protecting economic structure during times of risk,

- Preventing the viruses from spreading in particular. Detailed Description of the Invention

The present invention is a washing cabinet (1) and has a rectangular geometry as seen in Figure 1 and is formed by means of combining the four internal walls. The bottom of the washing cabinet (1) is inclined. Said incline allows for collecting fluids such as antimicrobial fluid used during the process of washing containers, thereby allowing for recycling said fluid and using them for future processes. Since the walls of the washing cabinet (1) comprise even further layers of walls, during a possible leakage exceeding the first layer, spreading of the washing fluid out of the washing cabinet (1) namely to the environment is prevented. There is a variable number of wheels (2) engaged to the inner surface of the washing cabinet (1). The wheels (2) enable proper movement of the container that enters into the washing cabinet (1) for the washing process without rolling and/or shaking within said washing cabinet (1). Each wheel (2) prevents thereof from crashing to the walls of the container and causing damage. The wheels (2) can be stable or preferably can be used with rails and/or springs.

One of the main elements of the invention is the nozzle (4) and as it can be seen in Figure-1, it is connected to the pipeline (3) positioned within the washing cabinet (1). The nozzles (4) which are located on the open upper portion of the washing cabinet (1), are positioned in an angular manner such that they face downward, i.e. they can perform spraying action downwardly. The nozzles (4) are not required to be positioned downwardly in an angular manner; a nozzle (4) which can perform angular spraying can be used instead.

Each nozzle (4) sprays the fluid coming from the pipeline (3) to the container which enters into the washing cabinet (1). The nozzles (4) which are positioned on the upper portion of the washing cabinet (1) first of all wash the sidewalls of the container entering said washing cabinet (1), when said container is lowered within said washing cabinet (1) until the warning is received from the sensor (5), the top surface of said container is also washed. On the other hand, each nozzle (4) which is positioned on the base of the washing cabinet (1) sprays the washing fluid to the relevant areas especially the base of the container. The nozzles (4) positioned on the base of the washing cabinet (1) spray the washing fluid coming from the pipeline (3).

The pipeline (3) which is also seen in Figure 2 transfers the washing fluid that it receives from the tank (11) to all nozzles (4) within the washing cabinet (1) according to the power coming from the pump (10). Moreover, when the container is being washed, after the waste washing fluid accumulating on the inclined base of the washing cabinet (1) is passed through the filter (9) that removes the solid substances and then it is transferred to the tank (11) by means of the pump (10) and then it is transferred to the pipeline (3) by means of said pump (10) and then is sprayed by means of nozzles (4).

Another main element constituting the invention is the sensor (5) which is positioned within the washing cabinet (1). When the container starts to enter into the washing cabinet (1) for the washing operation namely when it is started to be lowered, it is used for both preventing said washing cabinet (1) to hit the base and to inform the user that said container is fully washed. The sensor (5) can both issue visual warnings and audible warnings.

The washing cabinet (1) holds on the lower wheels (8). Each lower wheel (8) facilitates the washing cabinet (1). Preferably the washing cabinet (1) can be used stably without the lower wheels (8).

There is a platform (7) that is engaged parallel to the aforementioned washing cabinet (1) on at least one side of the washing cabinet (1). The user may access the electrical panel (12) positioned on the external wall of the washing cabinet (1) by means of the platform (7). The electrical panel (12) provides power to the pump (10) which is included within the washing cabinet. Also, there is an emergency button (13) on the electrical panel (12) which stops the system in the state of emergency. At the same time said platform (7) allows the user to access the door (6) in the washing cabinet (1). The user can enter said washing cabinet (1) through the door (6) for any failure and/or replacement of parts that may happen in the washing cabinet (1). Concurrently, the user may enter the washing cabinet (1) from the door (6) and clean the cabinet. The door (6) is leak-proof and does not permit any fluid to go out of the washing cabinet (1) when it is closed. To perform disinfection of a container within the washing cabinet (1), the following process steps are carried out: a. The container's starting to enter into the washing cabinet (1), b. Transferring the disinfectant washing fluid to the nozzles (4) from the pipeline (3) by means of the pump (10) from the tank (11), c. Spraying disinfectant washing fluid to the container by means of said nozzles (4), d. Warning of the sensor (5) when the container comes to the base border of said washing cabinet (1) and removing the container from said washing cabinet (1), e. Purifying the disinfectant washing fluid by means of passing the waste fluid through the filters (9) in the pipeline throughout the process and f. Returning the purified disinfectant washing fluid in said tank (11) by means of said pump (10).
