Abstract:
Container (10) which can be produced easily, has high sealability and is equipped with a metallic lid (11) having a peripheral portion (12) for gripping a container main body (14) having a plastic flange (15). The present invention relates also to a method of producing a container equipped with a metallic lid, which comprises the steps of covering the inner surface of a peripheral portion (12) of the metallic lid (11) with a heat-fusible material (13) such as a modified polyolefin, having the lid (11) fastening the grip of a flange (15) of a plastic container main body (14) from under and fusing the flange (15) to the peripheral portion (12) of the metallic lid (11) by heating means such as radio frequency heating. The present invention relates further to a production apparatus equipped with a mold, as a molding apparatus for press-molding the plastic container main body (14), which mold consists of a bottom force (104) having an inclined surface extending from the upper peripheral portion of the inner periphery of a metal mold to an outer periphery portion (103) at an angle of inclination of 5 to 40� and a top force (111) having a clamp (105) for clamping a plastic sheet and a plug (106) for pushing the sheet.
