Description:
A CONTAINER INTEGRATED WITH SOLAR PANELS

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a container wherein base stations enabling wireless communication in a certain coverage area and equipment thereof are positioned, and that has a structure at least two faces of which will consist of only solar panels in order to provide uninterruptible energy to base stations and equipment thereof.

Background of the Invention

Today, mains electricity is usually used in telecommunication sector for the purpose of meeting the energy need of base stations which enable wireless communication in a certain coverage area. The said base stations and equipment thereof are positioned within containers in order that base stations are not be affected by outside weather conditions and they are protected against unauthorized access. In addition to the mains electricity which is utilized in base stations, it is ensured to provide energy saving and to store the generated energy by means of solar panels integrated onto a container. Following the installation of base station, cost of both additional construction and assembly labour occur for mounted solar panels. Also, considering the currently installed base stations, there may be locations unsuitable for installation of solar panels due to the fact that no space is available on the concrete floor or because of shading problems.

Therefore, it is understood that there is need for a container structure wherein base stations and equipment thereof will be positioned and which is manufactured such that at least two faces thereof will consist of only solar panels in order to provide uninterruptible energy to base stations and equipment thereof, so as to overcome the cost caused by the solar panels that are integrated to base station cabins and containers subsequently and not to experience cases wherein environmental conditions will not be suitable for solar panels in the state of the art.

The United States patent document no. US20200304056, an application in the state of the art, discloses a system for meeting the electric power need by means of solar panels added onto a shipping container. The system in the said system enables to meet the electric power need of devices within a shipping container by means of solar panels which are positioned on a plurality of faces of a shipping container and secured at a desired angle during use.

Summary of the Invention

An objective of the present invention is to realize a container wherein base stations enabling wireless communication in a certain coverage area and equipment thereof are positioned, and that has a structure at least two faces of which will consist of only solar panels -which convert solar energy into usable electrical energy- in order to provide uninterruptible energy to base stations and equipment thereof
