Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a container manufacturing method and a container manufacturing device, by which it is possible to easily manufacture a container having a body section with a shape that gradually expands outward towards the top surface. This container (100) manufacturing method is for manufacturing a metal container, which has a bottom section (120) and a body section (110), the top surface side of which is open, and which has a shape where the body section expands outward towards the top surface. This method is characterized by comprising a bottom drawing step, in which the diameter of a bottomed cylinder metal cup body (200) is shrunk in such a manner that a diameter-shrinking die (300) having an opening (340) with a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the cup body is caused to operate from the bottom side along the cylindrical axis direction, the bottom drawing step being repeated a plurality of times.
