Description:
CONTAINER WITH A SHELF

The invention refers to a container used to transport goods by road, rail and sea. This containers is designed to transport items of low height.

Containers are fitted with a floor and cubes are available. In order to facilitate transport, container sizes are standardised. Equipment used to handle containers and fasten them is designed to suit the specified spacing of their cubes. Containers can be top-open or fitted with a roof. Their roof can be fixed or removable. Containers usually have front walls and side walls. Front walls may be fixed, in the form of doors, flaps or flap-doors.

The problem with standard containers is that - when transporting items of low height which cannot be stacked - a large part of their volume remains unused.

The invention makes it possible to design a container which can efficiently use its volume when transporting items of low height.

The concept of the invention is based on a container equipped with its floor, front walls, cubes and fitted with a shelf. Preferably, the shelf is supported at its ends adjacent to the front walls. Preferably, the shelf is supported on central brackets. Preferably, the shelf ends are supported on horizontal brackets connected to the floor by means of vertical brackets. Preferably, the shelf is connected to central brackets and can be disconnected if necessary. Preferably, the shelf is connected to horizontal brackets and can be disconnected if necessary.

Thanks to the invention, it is possible to transport more items with their height not exceeding half of the usable height of such a container. The container shelf can be removed to place items at the lower layer more conveniently or to transport higher items.

The invented solution in its exemplary embodiment is shown at the following figures: fig. 1 shows a view of the container with its front wall partially cut out, fig. 2 - a view of the shelf with its side support, fig. 3 - a view of the container with its front wall partially cut out and tarpaulin lowered, fig. 4 - the front wall.

The container in this exemplary embodiment is provided with the floor (1) and is equipped with the shelf (2). The container has fixed front walls (3). The shelf (2) is supported on its ends adjacent to the front walls (3) and on the central brackets (4). The shelf ends are supported on the horizontal brackets (5) connected to the floor by means of the vertical brackets (6). The shelf (2) is connected to the central brackets (3) and can be disconnected if necessary. The shelf (2) is connected to the horizontal brackets (5) and can be disconnected if necessary. The container is equipped with the container cubes (7) and the side walls are made of a tarpaulin (8). The container is equipped with a fixed roof

(9).
