4. The container according to claim 1, characterised in that it has the front walls (6).

Description:
Container

The utility model refers to a container intended for road, rail and sea transport. It is used to transport goods when a larger-than-standard volume is required and standard containers are not adequate.

Containers in the form of cuboids with their cubes at corners are available. The sizing of containers is standardised by the permitted maximum dimensions and the spacing of their cubes. Standard containers with their lengths of 20, 30 or 40 feet are available. At the same time, the weight of an individual container with cargo must not exceed the permissible threshold. Therefore, 30-foot and 40-foot containers (rather than 20-foot ones) are generally used to transport lower density goods.

It is technically problematic that for some goods, due to their density and handling capacity, 30-foot and 40-foot containers cannot be fully filled. When they are full, their permissible weight is exceeded. At the same time, filling up a 20-foot container does not engage the capacity of handling equipment at full.

The utility model makes it possible to design a container with its increased volume (compared to a 20-foot container), less than 30 feet in length, capable of handling and having the standard spacing of its cubes as for a 20-foot container.

The concept of this utility model is a container equipped with its floor, vertical posts and container cubes which is characterised by that its length ranges from 6.1 m up to 9 m, its vertical posts are firmly fixed on the longer edge of its floor and transfer loads from the floor to the top cubes. The container is equipped with the bottom cubes. The vertical posts are part of the side walls. The solution developed under this utility model makes it possible to design a container with its increased volume, which can be filled up with goods under certain conditions. Thanks to the spacing of its cubes being typical to 20-foot containers, the container can be transported on trailers and platforms adapted to the transport of 20-foot containers .

The item under the utility model is shown in the following figures: fig. 1 - a view of the container with a removable roof, fig. 2 - a view of the container with its top open, fig. 3 - a view of the container with tarpaulin, fig. 4 - a view of the container with loading holes.

The container is provided with its floor (1), vertical posts (2) and cubes (3). The vertical posts (2) are firmly fixed on the longer edge of the floor (1) and transfer loads from the floor (1) to the top cubes (3). The container is equipped with the bottom cubes (4). The vertical posts (2) are part of the side walls (5). The container has fixed front walls (6). The container is 23-feet long and the spacing of its cubes corresponds to the spacing of a 20-foot container. The front walls (6) may be in the following form: fixed, doors, flaps or flap-doors. The container can also be fitted with a fixed or removable roof (7). The roof may also take the form of tarpaulin. The roof may also have filling holes (8).
