Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a mechanism whereby the expressive power of feedback can be improved. [Solution] A control device comprises a control unit that vibrates a contact area with which an object comes into contact when it is determined that an operation accompanying the contact made on the contact area by the object has been performed in an input unit that has the contact area, the control unit adjusting an acceleration time duration as a control parameter in a control for vibrating the contact area, the acceleration time duration being a time duration from an initial time, at which acceleration imparted to the contact area by the vibration reaches a value of a first rate referencing a first extreme value of the acceleration, until a final time, at which the acceleration reaches a value of a second rate referencing a second extreme value of the acceleration.
