Abstract:
A control device for a stepless transmission has a sensor placed close to a chain
of a stepless transmission, and the sensor is made to detect a pin to output a pulse.
The control device further has a control section for obtaining the theoretical
speed of the chain based on the input rotation speed and output rotation speed
of the stepless transmission, obtaining the actual speed of the chain based on
the output of the sensor, obtaining a slip based on the obtained speeds, and controlling
clamping force of the stepless transmission so that the slip is closer to a standard
value.
