Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a control device for a vehicle transmission (013, 014, etc.) that duplicates software programs as control units and using the same content, and even when a ROM (005) fault is detected, performs the same control for normal driving using a substitute control for the control at the fault site in the ROM (005). As a result, when a ROM (005) fault is detected, the present invention makes it possible to ensure the safety of the vehicle transmission (013, 014, etc.) without limiting the function of the vehicle transmission (013, 014, etc.) and thus avoid reducing driveability.
