Abstract:
This control device, which controls a multi-joint robot having multiple joints and an arm, is provided with: an imaging unit which is attached at a prescribed position on the multi-joint robot, and which captures an image of the periphery; a control unit which controls the multi-joint robot to a prescribed basic posture; a comparison unit which compares a prescribed image and an image that was taken by the imaging unit when the multi-joint robot was controlled to the prescribed basic posture; and a determination unit which, depending on the comparison results of the comparison unit, determines whether or not any of the arm and multiple joints was replaced.
