Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of control of petrol engines. Provided are a control lever with two cords and a petrol engine. The control lever with two cords comprises: a left casing (4); a right casing (5); a throttle control handle (11); a self-locking handle (3); and a shutdown handle (2). The shutdown handle (2) is slidably installed at an engagement groove (21) arranged at an edge of the left casing (4). When pushed forward or backward along the engagement groove (21), the shutdown handle (2) can be locked at a start position or a shutdown position. The two cords of the control lever can be controlled with a single hand, wherein one cord (8) is connected to a valve of an air inlet passage of a petrol engine, and the other cord (9) controls a throttle of a carburetor of the petrol engine. That is, the control lever with two cords enables control of shutdown and a change in a rotating speed of a petrol engine with a single hand.
