Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of electrical equipment. Specifically provided are a control method for an air conditioner, and an air conditioner. An indoor unit of the air conditioner comprises a shell, a fan, and a sterilization apparatus. The control method comprises: running a fan and a sterilization apparatus, so as to sterilize a room; when the running time of the sterilization apparatus reaches a first pre-set time, pausing the running of both the fan and the sterilization apparatus; running a floor sweeping robot, so as to sweep the room; after the room is swept, rerunning the fan and the sterilization apparatus; and when the rerunning time of the sterilization apparatus reaches a second pre-set time, stopping running the sterilization apparatus. A sterilization apparatus can spray a sterilizing agent in the form of a mist, and after a fan of an indoor unit starts, the sterilizing agent in the form of a mist can flow to various positions of a room along with air blown from an air outlet, so as to sterilize the room; in addition, the air conditioner is associated with a floor sweeping robot, such that the effect of sterilizing a room can be improved, and the amount of the sterilizing agent remaining on the floor of the room can also be reduced.
