A control method and controller for a motor, a distance measurement sensor, and a mobile platform. The method comprises: at step S110, detecting whether the ambient temperature of the motor is lower than a temperature threshold; at step S120, if the ambient temperature of the motor is lower than the temperature threshold, increasing the starting current of the motor to a first starting current, and starting the motor at the first starting current; at step S130, detecting whether the rotational speed of the motor reaches a first rotational speed; and at step S140, if the rotational speed of the motor does not reach the first rotational speed, controlling the motor to enter a heating mode. By means of the control method and the controller thereof, the distance measurement sensor, and the mobile platform, by preheating the bearing of the motor or increasing the starting current when the ambient temperature is low, and reducing the starting current when the ambient temperature is high, the present invention achieves the starting of the motor within a wide temperature range, and improves the reliability of the operation of the motor.
