Abstract:
A control system for a power backup system. Since a NOT gate circuit is arranged between a main controller and a standby battery, the main controller can output a high level when controlling an electrical energy output function of the standby battery to be turned on, and can output a low level when controlling the electrical energy output function of the standby battery to be turned off. That is to say, when the main controller completes the execution of a power backup program and controls a computer device to be powered off, even if the main controller itself outputs a low level due to an insufficient power supply voltage, the low level, after being subjected to high-low inversion of the NOT gate circuit, still controls the electrical energy output function of the standby battery to be turned off, and the electrical energy output function of the standby battery is not enabled again. A power-off operation can be smoothly executed, electrical energy is saved, and the service life of a related device, such as a standby battery, is prolonged. A control method for a power backup system, wherein the method has the same beneficial effects as the control system for a power backup system.
