Abstract:
The invention relates to electrotechnical and electric energy engineering and can be used in the form of an adjustable reactive resistance, in particular in the form of a static compensator of a surplus reactive power in electric power networks. The invention makes it possible to limit the higher harmonic components of a power winding current to a level permissible for the operation of electric power networks, reduce the consumption of electrical steel, the response time of the reactor, the overall dimensions thereof and to reduce a magnetic field dissipation. The result is achieved by the configuration of the legs and yokes of a reactor core, the location and sector shape of magnetic shunts, and by the incorporation of vacuum circuit breakers into the switching network of reactance coils.
