Abstract:
 A controller for a hybrid vehicle has a low-temperature hydraulic control means (11a) for implementing low-temperature hydraulic control whereby the line pressure of a transmission (7) at low engine temperatures is limited for a prescribed amount of time to a value below the maximum value of a predetermined line pressure/indicated pressure, and the amount of operating fluid discharged from an oil pump (4) is minimized. The present invention is configured so that hydraulic control performed by the low-temperature hydraulic control means (11a) is continuously implemented when the engine (1) is at a low temperature until a first clutch (3) is engaged following motor start after the engine startup. It is thereby possible to prevent the oil pump from being stopped due to low-temperature hydraulic control having started at an inappropriate time.
