Abstract:

An ECU (13) comprises a throttle opening control means (131) for controlling the flow rate of intake air, a target output torque calculation means (132) for calculating a target output torque from the operating state of an engine (1) or the accelerator operation by a driver, a target ignition timing calculation means (133) for calculating a target ignition timing based on the operating state of the engine (1), an actual output torque calculation means (134) for calculating the actual output torque of the engine (1) based on an engine rotation speed, filling efficiency, target ignition timing, air/fuel ratio, and a gross calorific value of fuel, and a target intake air volume calculation means (135) for calculating a filling efficiency-torque conversion factor based on the filling efficiency and the actual output torque and calculating a target filling efficiency from the target output torque and the filling efficiency-torque conversion factor to thereby calculate a target intake air volume, wherein engine torque control is performed while the properties of fuel are captured as information so that the controlled variable of the engine for realizing a target output torque can be obtained precisely.
