Abstract:
A conveyor belt is provided which, without sacrificing the reinforcement function of a core layer, can effectively reduce the energy required during manufacture and use of said conveyor belt. An upper rubber cover 6 and a lower rubber cover 7 are arranged so as to sandwich a core layer 5 from above and below, the core layer 5 being configured from multiple steel cords 1 extending side-by-side. The outer diameter D of the steel cords 1 is 0.35-6.0 mm, the side-by-side pitch P of the steel cords 1 is greater than 0.35 mm and less than or equal to 7.0 mm, and the steel cords are embedded extending in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt 9.
