A cooking material cleaning method and device. The cleaning method comprises the steps of: S1, adding cooking materials into a container (9) according to needs; S2, using a driving device (1) to drive a pipe (2), and inserting the pipe (2) into the container (9), an outlet of the pipe (9) being positioned in the cooking materials and being close to the bottom of the container (9); S3, supplying water to the pipe (2) by means of a water system (3); S4, after water is introduced into the pipe (2) for a certain time, stopping the water system (3) from introducing water, and sucking water out of the container (9) by means of the pipe (2) when the water system (3) runs again to complete washing once; S5, selecting different washing frequencies according to different cooking materials, and repeating S3 and S4 according to the washing frequencies; S6, using the driving device (1) to drive the pipe (2) to detach from the container (9) to complete the whole washing process. Damage caused by interference from external force to the cooking materials is avoided; and moreover, different washing frequencies can be selected according to different materials, the cooking materials are preserved well, and the situation that the taste after cooking is influenced since the cooking materials are damaged can be avoided.
