Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: cookware that is capable of ensuring a place to temporarily place a cooking tool while suppressing an increase in the temperature of the cooking tool; and a cookware set. [Solution] Provided is cookware which is characterized in that: the cookware includes a body that has a bottom plate and a sidewall that rises upward from the circumference of the bottom plate, and a handle that is provided on an outer surface positioned on an outer side of the body of side surfaces of the side wall; the handle has, on a top surface of the handle, a guide groove that supports a rod-shaped grip of a cooking tool; the guide groove supports the grip at a location in which the handle is provided on the outer surface such that the cooking tool passes over an upper edge of the side wall; the handle has a shape extending diagonally upward from the outer surface of the side wall; and the guide groove has a width that tapers from the tip side of the handle toward the base side of the handle.
