A cooling system for a refrigeration and freezing device, and a refrigeration and freezing device. The cooling system comprises: a cooling assembly comprising a compressor, a first evaporator, and a second evaporator which form a cooling loop; and bypass defrosting tubes comprising a first bypass defrosting tube and a second bypass defrosting tube used for circulating a refrigerant from the compressor to generate heat, the first bypass defrosting tube being thermally connected to the first evaporator, and the second bypass defrosting tube being thermally connected to the second evaporator. The cooling system is configured to, when heating one evaporator by means of the bypass defrosting tube, provide a cooling capacity by means of the other evaporator, so as to prevent temperature fluctuations of storage compartments. When the first evaporator and the second evaporator are separately used for defrosting, the evaporator that does not perform defrosting may be used for cooling; thus, the cooling system can effectively prevent significant temperature fluctuations of the storage compartments while increasing the defrosting rate of the evaporator.
