Abstract:
A polycarbonate/polyorganosiloxane copolymer which comprises a polyorganosiloxane block (A-1) including a specific structural unit and a polycarbonate block (A-2) composed of specific repeating units and which satisfies the following requirement (A) or (B). Requirement (A): The polycarbonate/polyorganosiloxane copolymer has a hexane-extractable content of 150 ppm or less. Requirement (B): The polycarbonate/polyorganosiloxane copolymer, when separated by gel permeation chromatography, gives a polycarbonate/polyorganosiloxane copolymer which includes polyorganosiloxane blocks having an average weight that satisfies a specific expression.
