Abstract:

The present invention relates to a core drill for forming a hole in a workpiece and, more specifically, to a core drill formed as a separable type having a structure that facilitates discharge of foreign substances, improves drilling work efficiency, and reduces the replacement cost of the core drill. The present invention provides a core drill (100) in which a main body (10) and a cover part (20) are separable from each other, such that concrete foreign substances or reinforcing bar foreign substances stuck in the main body can easily be removed. In addition, the present invention is configured such that the outer diameter of a cutting part (30) of the core drill (100) is larger than the outer diameter of the main body (10), so that the cutting part (30) protrudes in a diametrical direction from the main body and smoothly discharges foreign substances, such that wear of the main body (10) can be reduced during the discharge of the foreign substances generated during drilling. Furthermore, the present invention has a structure that increases an attachment area of a cutting tip attached to the cutting part (30) of the core drill (100), thereby preventing the cutting tip from easily coming off due to cutting force, and makes the thickness of the cutting tip smaller than the conventional art, thereby reducing drilling resistance to thus increase the drilling efficiency. Moreover, by replacing only a corresponding part when the main body (10), the cover part (20), or the cutting part (30) of the core drill is damaged or worn, the present invention saves replacement costs compared to replacing the entire core drill.
