Abstract:
The present invention relates to core molds for a press having a damage preventing means, which allows a gas generated during press-forming to be discharged outside, in order to allow the manufacture of a highly reliable metal separator plate by preventing stress from being applied to a metal separator plate for a hydrogen vehicle when press-forming the metal separator plate which provides a flow path through which a hydrogen gas flows. More specifically, in a press for forming a metal separator plate having a plurality of channels which are formed in a zigzag manner in parallel to one another by means of pressing by core molds comprising an ascending/descending upper mold and a lower mold and provide flow paths through which a hydrogen gas flows, the core molds comprise a damage preventing means for preventing stress from being applied to the metal separator plate when the metal separator plate is pressed, wherein the damage preventing means comprises: first air holes bored in a plurality in the upper mold; second air holes bored in a plurality in the lower mold; and through holes bored in a plurality in the metal separator plate so as to vertically face the first air holes as well as the second air holes, and when the metal separator plate is press-formed by means of the upper mold, the damage preventing means prevents stress from being applied to the metal separator plate by allowing a gas due to the pressing to be discharged via the first air holes and second air holes communicating with the through holes.
