Abstract:
The present invention relates to a core-shell composite catalyst, in which the core is a spinel-structured XYaOb catalyst, where X and Y are different from each other and are selected from the second family of the periodic table of the chemical elements, the transitional elements, and the metal elements in the third family, a is a number between 1-15 and preferably a number between 1-5, and b is the number of oxygen atoms required to satisfy the valency of the elements; and the shell is a molecular sieve catalyst, preferably selected from one or more of ZSM-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-35, and MOR, and further preferably selected from ZSM-5 and ZSM-11. The core-shell composite catalyst, when used to prepare p-Xylene directly from a synthetic gas per a one-step method, not only has a simple process, is easy to operate, provides high selectivity of p-Xylene in a Xylene product and a high conversion rate of the synthetic gas, but also provides an extended catalyst service life. In addition, the present invention also relates to a preparation method for the core-shell composite catalyst and the use thereof in serving as a catalyst in the one-step preparation of p-Xylene from the synthetic gas.
