Abstract:
This cosmetic container, which houses a cosmetic, has a tip opening formed at the tip of the cosmetic container and can project and retract an applicator containing the cosmetic through a passage that communicates with the tip opening. The cosmetic container has a protrusion which protrudes radially inwards from the inner wall of said passage and which, when the applicator is projected through the passage, contacts the applicator to adjust to a prescribed amount the cosmetic contained in the applicator. The protrusion is arranged such that, when the applicator is retracted through the passage, the protrusion is in a position a prescribed distance away from the tip opening such that the cosmetic dripped from the applicator into the passage in front of the protrusion due to the protrusion contacting the applicator does not leak from the tip opening.
