Abstract:
Provided are a cover plate (1), a display panel, and a manufacturing method for the cover plate (1). The cover plate (1) comprises a glass cover plate (11), the glass cover plate (11) comprising a hole digging area (111); an encapsulating layer (12), the encapsulating layer (12) being arranged on a side of the glass cover plate (11); and a buffer layer (13), wherein the buffer layer (13) is arranged on the side of the glass cover plate (11) far away from the encapsulating layer (12), the buffer layer (13) is arranged in the hole digging area (111) of the glass cover plate (11), and the buffer layer (13) is used for buffering, when hole digging is performed in the hole digging area (111), stress generated by the encapsulating layer (12).
