Abstract:
The present innovation relates to warning devices for load transfer operations, particularly for warning personnel working in heavy industrial sites near cranes and their loads. A crane load warning device has a retention unit and pivotally connected signaling unit. The signaling unit has user programmable lateral warning lights, vertical focused beam light and an audio signal. The retention unit has a retractable clamping arm with clamps, adapted to clamp onto load rigging such as a wire sling and retain the warning device on the load. The crane load warning device can be attached to a crane load whilst maintaining a vertical orientation of the focused beam light and prevent accidents by providing audio visual warning signals.
