Abstract:
The present invention provides a crankshaft which has excellent welding resistance. This crankshaft is provided with a journal part and a pin part; and the journal part and the pin part have surface profiles, each of which has an arithmetic mean height Pa of a cross-section curve of 0.090 μm or less and a profile peak height Rpk of 0.070 μm or less. Incidentally, the arithmetic mean height Pa of a cross-section curve is defined in JIS B 0601 (2001), and the profile peak height Rpk is defined in JIS B 0671 (2002).
