Abstract:
Provided is a crosslinked polyester resin that exhibits self-adherence, remoldability, and a damage repair capacity. Due to dynamic covalent bond crosslinking that is capable of bond exchange at elevated temperatures, the crosslinked polyester resin exhibits high strength at room temperature, but at and above softening temperature is capable of reprocessing, film-to-film adherence, and self-repair. Moreover, even without the addition of a transesterification catalyst, the crosslinked polyester resin exhibits a softening behavior attributable to bond exchange by a transesterification reaction. The crosslinked polyester resin is a resin in which a polyester resin having the carboxy group in side chain position is crosslinked by an epoxy crosslinking agent that has a plurality of epoxy groups. The epoxy crosslinking agent contains an epoxyamine compound that has at least two tertiary amino groups and at least two epoxy groups in the molecule, and the epoxyamine compound is used at 3-30 parts by mole per 100 parts by mole of the carboxy group in the polyester resin having the carboxy group in side chain position.
