Abstract:
A cryogenic freezer (20) comprises: a first cooling stage (22a) for cooling an object to be cooled; a first heat transfer member (51) connected to one between the first cooling stage (22a) and the object to be cooled; a second heat transfer member (52) connected to the other between the first cooling stage (22a) and the object to be cooled via a flexible heat transfer member (53), the second heat transfer member being disposed so as to be movable with respect to the first heat transfer member (51); a first elastic member (54) which is elastically compressible; and a first elastic member holder (55) attached to the first heat transfer member (51), the first elastic member holder (55) holding the second heat transfer member (52) and the elastically compressed first elastic member (54) between the first elastic member holder (55) and the first heat transfer member (51), such that the second heat transfer member (52) is pressed against the first heat transfer member (51) by the elastically compressed first elastic member (54).
