Abstract:
Provided are: a cured product of a curable composition containing a compound represented by general formula (1), the cured product having a birefringence Δn at a wavelength of 587 nm of 0.00≤Δn≤0.01; an optical member; a lens; a compound represented by general formula (1); a curable resin composition containing the compound; a cured product; a diffractive optical element; and multi-layer diffractive optical element. Ar represents an aromatic ring group represented by a specific formula, L1 and L2 each represent -O-, and Spa and Spb each represent a linking group having the smallest number of atoms of 11 or more to connect Pol and L, and Pol1 and Pol2 each represent a polymerizable group. In Spa and Spb, a linking portion to L1 or L2 is -CH2-, and a linking portion to Pol1 or Pol2 is a carbon atom.
