Abstract:
Provided is a current-limiting circuit (100) having low power consumption and high power, comprising a DC signal amplification circuit (101), a current control circuit (102), a dynamically variable load and switch circuit (103), and an output circuit (104). A high-precision, high-power, low-resistance sampling resistor (R8) is connected in series between an output terminal of the output circuit (104) and the ground to obtain a sampling voltage signal V1. The DC signal amplification circuit (101) amplifies the sampling voltage signal V1 to obtain an amplified voltage signal V2. The current control circuit (102) is a comparator for comparing the amplified voltage signal V2 with a reference voltage Vref. When the voltage signal V2 is less than the reference voltage Vref, a second amplifier controls to turn on the dynamically variable load and switch circuit (103) to increase a load current; when the voltage signal V2 is greater than the reference voltage Vref, the second amplifier controls to turn off the dynamically variable load and switch circuit (103) to reduce the load current. The current-limiting circuit (100) achieves current limiting with a fast reaction speed, high precision, low power consumption, and low cost.
