Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cushion in which an overload is more satisfactorily dispersed and which is highly effective especially in the prevention of skin disorders including congestion and bedsore; and to provide a cushion which can be produced by an easier method than conventional cushions and which is easy to handle and is widely applicable.
[Solution] A cushion which comprises a frame, a main member disposed within the frame and having flexibility, and a plurality of cushioning members arranged side by side from each lateral portion of the main member to the frame, wherein the main member has such deformability that when receiving an overload from above and compressed downward, the main member pushes itself at least toward both lateral portions thereof, the cushioning members each can move toward the frame when receiving the deformation of the main member caused by compression, and the frame can deform toward the outside.
